Gaelic Language Plan
As Scotland's largest landowner, Forestry Commission Scotland takes its responsibility under the Gaelic Language (Scotland) Act 2005 very seriously. We're keen to further the aims of the National Plan for Gaelic, through a series of targeted actions. We outline these in our current Gaelic Language Plan.
Our new, revised Gaelic Language Plan has recently gone through a six week consultation period. The comments and suggestions provided by stakeholders and members of the public will be used to make alterations and improvements where appropriate. We hope to submit it to Bòrd na Gàidhlig over the next month for approval in the New Year.
