Callander Land Managment Plan was approved by Forestry Commission Scotland in May 2016 following consultation with the local community and other stakeholders. Approval is for a ten year period from 2016 to 2026. The mixed conifer and broadleaved woodlands sit either side of the River Teith and form an impressive background to the town of Callander. The plan area is within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and management objectives emphasise its importance for recreation and landscape.
