Summer Family Nature Club: Tremendous Trees

Join the RSPB and Forestry Commission Scotland for a fun filled morning learning about the array of wildlife here at the Lodge. Games, wildlife watching and building homes for nature are some of the things to look forward to over the summer holidays.

Come and learn about the trees that make up the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and what lives in them. Also, try your hand at some wild art with bark rubbings and nature sculptures.

Trossachs Search and Rescue Fun Day

Fishing at Loch Grannoch

Join our friendly staff for this popular day of fishing on Loch Grannoch. Some basic fishing rods and bait can be hired if pre-booked. Booking essential - please call 0300 067 6800. Limited spaces available - book early to avoid disappointment. Meet at the Riverside car park at the end of the Raiders Road Forest Drive.


Batty About Bats at The Lodge

Price: £7 per person (£5.50 for children & RSPB members). Booking required.

Come and join RSPB and Forestry Commission Scotland on the evening bat walk and learn all about a bats life cycle, their habitat and what they eat.

Use the bat detectors to listen to the bats flying above and try to identify what species live here.

Help set up the moth trap and see what other things fly at night.
