Peaceful pinewoods, that are just a short stroll away
There’s a whole selection of woods within walking distance of Ladybank village, which are ideal for picnics, easy strolls, cycling and horse riding. The woods are buzzing with birds and keep your eyes peeled for roe deer and red squirrels.
Choose Heatherhall or Monkstown for easy walking along wide, level paths, with car parks and information. Head for Gravelpit Wood to discover a wartime pillbox amid the heather, find peaceful bird-friendly ponds at Cairnfield Muir and springtime orchids, butterflies and beeches at South Annsmuir. Download our Ladybank map to see the different woods. You could even link up the woods and walk them all in one day.
Our Ladybank Woods map will help you explore.
