Kintyre

Land of legend and drama

These woods and hills may be peaceful now, but they echo with the sounds of Norsemen, legendary beasts and heroic hunters. Today the hunters you’re most likely to see are soaring birds of prey, including buzzards and hen harriers, and the woods are home to four species of deer, red and black grouse, butterflies, wood ants and much more. What will you spot?
