Stretch your legs at Garshellach
Just outside Stirling, this quiet conifer forest is a good place for a runner’s workout, or a walk with the dog. There are fine views of the wide Forth Valley from the top, with Stirling Castle dominating the countryside around.

How to get here
From Stirling, take the A811 towards Drymen. After about 3 ¼ miles (5.2 km), turn left onto Touch Road, signposted for Cambusbarron. The forest entrance is about ¼ mile (400 metres) along this road on the right, at grid reference NS744 937. There is parking space for about three cars.
