Tree top views and a spectacular waterfall

Alainn View

Fantastic views of fast-flowing waters

From this specially-built lookout there are great views over the tree tops to Tobermory and down to the plunging Aros River waterfall. It’s spectacular after heavy rain, as the peaty water thunders towards the sea.

The path to the look-out is 109 yards (100 metres) long, and is wide and flat with a smooth firm surface. It’s suitable for wheelchairs and buggies all the way to the lookout, with no obstacles.

Our guide map to Mull’s forests will help you enjoy the landscape, culture, history and wildlife of this amazing island.
