The team that runs the Glenmore Visitor Centre café has been awarded a top visit Scotland accolade.

The latest award adds to the 4 star Visit Scotland award and the Silver ‘Green Tourism Award’, that mark Glenmore Visitor Centre, managed by Forest Enterprise Scotland, as being a top-flight facility in the area.

The ‘Taste our Best’ quality assurance award highlights the commitment of the Cobbs catering team to offering the best Scottish fare using the best of Scottish produce.

Cobbs Director of Operations, Willie Cameron, said;

“We pride ourselves on our dedication to using the best of ingredients to give all of our visitors a true taste of Scotland.

“With years of experience, we know that home-grown produce is top notch - meat, fish, fruit, herbs, you name it then we can source it here at home.

“We believe that by using only these very of ingredients we can deliver a unique and authentic taste of Scotland that delights the palate and satisfies the heartiest of appetites.”

Cobbs, which also provides catering services at the Queen’s View Visitor Centre (Forest Enterprise Scotland) in Perthshire, have been at Glenmore Visitor Centre since April 2014.

Jack Mackay for the FES team in Inverness, Ross & Skye, said;

“This is a fantastic achievement and is justly deserved by the Cobb’s team.

“Visitors to Glenmore are knocked out by the stunning, powerful views and incredibly beautiful landscape. A visit to the café is the taste equivalent of that visual experience of the landscape - and is a superb way to round-off any visit to the area.”
