Consultation updates on Culdrain and Ittingstone

Forestry Commission Scotland is inviting local groups and individuals to offer comment on the latest draft land management plans for Ittingstone, and for Culdrain, both near Huntly.

David Henderson, for Forestry Commission Scotland, said;

“There has been quite a bit of interest in these sites amongst the local communities and we have consulted extensively and taken a wide range of views and aspirations for these sites into account.

“These have been considered in our latest draft plans, which are now online for consultees to examine and provide further feedback.

“It has been very helpful to have local input to our efforts to develop proposals for Ittingstone and for Culdrrain that optimize their capacity to integrate and sustain a variety of different land uses.”

The plans and maps are available to view online until 31st May 2015.
