We are currently carrying out a consultation exercise for the draft management proposals for the Inverness Woodlands Land Management Plan (LMP). The proposed land management plan is an amalgamation of Culloden Woodlands, Ord Hill, Craig Phadrig and Daviot, and now covers an area of 1,156 ha, which stretches from the Black Isle in the north to Daviot in the south, and from the Western edge of the city of Inverness to Cawdor in the east.

The Forestry Commission are hoping to gather feedback and suggestions from locals and woodland users in relation to a wide range of topics regarding the Inverness Woodlands forest blocks.

Timescales

  • Draft Plan Consultation: deadline 31 March 2018
