Equality and diversity
Forestry Commission Scotland works as part of the Scottish Government’s Environment and Forestry Directorate. We manage the National Forest Estate, and advise and support Scottish Ministers on all forestry matters.
We work to ensure the land we manage is accessible – with well promoted local woodlands and national treasures, that are welcoming and open to all. We're committed to advancing equality of opportunity. We're working to eliminate unlawful discrimination and to foster good relations between different groups.
As a cross-border authority, we meet the requirements of the Equality Act Specific Duties relevant to England.
